CHAGS 2013
"The 10th Conference on Hunting and Gathering Societies will be held at the University of Liverpool (UK) from 23 to 28 June 2013.
The themes of this conference, ‘Resilience and Vulnerability’, are timely, not only in the field of hunter-gatherer research but in a world struggling with economic, cultural and ecological turmoil. In its twenty panel sessions the participants of CHaGS 10 will consider:
•What the world in general and hunter-gatherer research in particular might learn from some of the most resilient, but also most vulnerable of societies past and present.
•The current state of hunter-gatherer research in the context of resilience and vulnerability.
